At Healthy365, we know that religion or spirituality is an important part of many families’ lives in Hancock County. If you count spiritual wellness as part of your journey to health, we’d love to connect you with resources that can support you and your family. Our Healthy365 Congregational Network is one way that you can get help from local churches in times of need and times of health.
How does the Congregational Network operate?
The Healthy365 Congregational Network is a partnership with churches that are located in Hancock County. Our church partners can help individuals and families who are in need. This may include a stay in the hospital for yourself or a loved one, or a time of need at home. When you work with a Healthy365 Support Navigator to identify connections to local resources, you can indicate whether you would also benefit from help from the Congregational Network. Our longterm goal is to create better healthcare outcomes by allowing all members of our community to be the healthiest they can be.
What type of resources are offered?
Our congregational network strives to provide person-centered care for community members from a faith-based perspective. Support from a church partner may include a visit to your home, a homemade meal, shared prayer, or navigation to further resources. Our Support Navigators also partner with participating churches to offer educational classes for their congregations and the community at large to improve health and wellness.
What are the benefits of spiritual wellness?
At Healthy365, we are dedicated to providing support for your overall wellness journey, in mind, body, and spirit. We work with Hancock County residents of all ages to ensure that their physical, emotional, behavioral and spiritual needs are met. When one area of your wellness is suffering, it may cause other areas to start to suffer as well. For those who find spirituality to be an important part of their daily life, the Congregational Network can help nurture that aspect of your wellness to improve your overall health.
Which churches are involved in the Congregational Network?
As of this publication, there are 29 local Hancock County churches that have made a covenant to partner with Healthy365, offering spiritual care to clients and congregation members. We are proud that our local community is dedicated to removing barriers to care and is willing to support all areas of individual wellness – mind, body and spirit.
